April 2024 Level Advancements

Welcome, Judges! I’m Dan Schuster, one of the Program Leads of the IJP and I coordinate most of our blog publications like this one. It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the first of our monthly Level Advancement articles where we recognize the achievements of IJP judges who have advanced to a new level. These judges have proven their qualifications and excellence and we applaud them for their desire to keep improving and pushing their abilities ever forward.

In the future, we will have one article like this every month to continuously highlight the improvements of the judges in our community. If you level up and you want to make sure you appear in the next article, please let us know. Similarly, if you want to make sure you do not appear in one of these articles, please reach out as well!

Since this is the first article in the series, we can’t start recognizing advancements without saying a massive thank you to the people who have made it all possible:

The Level Testing Managers

Level 1 Testing Manager: Bruna Chiochetta

Level 2 Testing Manager: QJ Wong

Level 3 Testing Manager: Luca Chiassoni

Level 4 Testing Manager: Alfonso Bueno

Level 5 Testing Manager: Jonah Kellman

Practical evaluation for L4 and L5:  Mikaël Rabie

Large Regular REL events Certification Manager: Philip Ockelmann

The Exam Creation Team
TRAs and TOs

And, of course, all the Temporary Regional Advisors and Tournament Organizers who provided great feedback.

Reminder: End of Transition Period

We would like to remind you that the Transition Period to the International Judge Program ends May 31st. If you want to migrate your Judge Academy level to the IJP, you must do it before that day. It’s automatic and you only need to confirm your willingness to become an IJP member by clicking here.

If you want to access the automatic or accelerated paths to Levels 4 and 5, you must fill in the appropriate form before May 31st.

Level Advancements

Now that we know who made all of this possible, it is time to recognize the first wave of judges who have advanced to a new level within the IJP. Please join us in congratulating all of the following judges on their achievement:
