International Judge Program Call for Volunteers

Hello fellow judges!

We are looking for volunteers to help build and run the International Judge Program.  At this stage, we need help in many different areas and over the upcoming weeks, we are going to create several volunteer workgroups to organize them.

What is the International Judge Program going to do?

This is up to YOU to decide!

The International Judge Program is made by the judges and for the judges.

The International Judge Program belongs to all judges and it’s up to all of us to decide what we want it to be.

It’s your turn to decide what you want the International Judge Program to be!

The role of the Program Leads is helping, supporting, coordinating, empowering and creating synergies. But it’s the judge community, who is deciding what to do and getting it done.

IJP Core Projects

In order to facilitate and coordinate the participation of all interested judges in shaping the International Judge Program (IJP), we have created the IJP Core Projects. They can be anything as long as they’re aimed to benefit the judge community and have an international scope. If you want to do something with a local scope, that’s also great, encouraged and supported. You can contact the Temporary Regional Advisor for your country or use the email below and we’ll redirect you

Create and Lead a Project

If you want to create and lead a Core Project, email us at CoreProjects@internationaljudgeprogram.org and we’ll discuss the specifics. Our goal is helping you set up the project, providing you with the necessary resources and avoiding duplicates.

Got Ideas?

We are looking for volunteers to take care of are (amongst many others): A project to ensure we have judge pictures at all major events around the world; a project to help the Program Leads improve our communication; a committee that advises on inclusion, diversity and equity…and looking for more! Email us with your idea!

If you want to participate in any existing project, feel free to reach out to the current Project Lead or if you don’t know how, reach out to us (the Program Leads) and we’ll help you.

Projects in motion

You can find the updated list of the current IJP Core Projects by going to JudgeApps page and typing in the ‘Project Alignment’ filter “International Judge Program”. Please note that the website is separated in two different sections: Projects looking for volunteers and projects not looking for volunteers. You need to use the filter in both sections separately.

At the time of writing this the existing projects are:

IJP Core Project Mentoring and education – looking for educational content creators.

IJP Core Project – Levels workgroup

IJP Core Project – Exam Content

IJP Core Project – Translations – looking for new project Lead.
