5 Steps to Voting in the 2025 IJP Elections

The time has come to participate in IJP elections. Casting your vote is simple and important, and we want to make sure there are no doubts in the process.

The voting period is from January 12 (starts during the General Assembly) until January 19, 2025 (23:59 anywhere in the world).

Follow these steps to ensure your participation is counted correctly and securely!

Step 1: Check Your Email

Each eligible member will receive a unique pin via email to validate their vote, along with a Google Forms link. This will be sent to the same email as in your JudgeApps account. Make sure to check your spam in case you don’t find it, the email subject is: IJP – Regional Representative Elections

The forms link is specific to your region. Only votes submitted by people in the correct region will be valid. Please don’t share it with anyone outside your region.

If you encounter any issues with this step, please email us at hello@internationaljudgeprogram.org as soon as possible and we will make sure you get your pin and correct link.

Step 2: Fill Out the Google Form

Open the Google Forms link provided in your email and cast your votes. You are allowed to cast up to three votes, considering the ranked voting system:

  • 1st Vote: Worth 3 points
  • 2nd Vote: Worth 2 points
  • 3rd Vote: Worth 1 point

You can leave some or all votes blank if you wish.
The candidate with the most points wins. In case of a tie, the candidate with the most unique voters wins. If a tie persists, a candidate tied for most voters will be selected at random.

Step 3 (optional): Edit Your Votes

If you change your mind, you can update your responses anytime before the voting deadline.

Use the same Google Forms link to make edits, a copy of your responses will be sent to your email. Ensure your final choices are submitted before the deadline.

Step 4: Election Results

Once the voting period closes, all votes will be disclosed to ensure transparency. Election results will be published on January 21st.

Step 5 (optional): Leave Your Feedback

The IJP is continuously looking to improve, if you have any ideas, suggestions or feedback, please use the dedicated text box to type it.

For any questions or feedback, please contact us at hello@internationaljudgeprogram.org

Your voice matters, thanks for voting!
