Regional Representative Results

Two-Year Terms:

One-Year Terms:

  • Asia: Wendra Djati Kamadjaja is the Regional Representative. No Substitute RR selected.
  • France: Mikael Rabie is the Regional Representative. No Substitute RR selected.
  • Latin America: Herbert Zurita is the Regional Representative. No Substitute RR selected.

Regions with no substitute Regional Representative are those where only one candidate applied.

International Associated Regions

This temporary aggregation includes regions and countries that do not yet meet the 100-member threshold required for independent representation.

We acknowledge that this is not an ideal situation. Addressing the underlying causes of this issue will be a key focus for the IJP in 2025. Once the new leadership is in place, efforts will begin to ensure better representation for these areas.

Other Topics Voted On

1. Membership for Non-Certified Individuals

Proposal: Should the IJP accept non-certified individuals (e.g., judges, scorekeepers, or others)?

  • Results:

    • 81 votes for: “Yes, as full members.”

Outcome: The Program Leads will implement a system to accept non-certified individuals as “associated” members of the IJP.

Who Should Apply as Program Lead?

If you have time, energy, and motivation to help improve the Judge Program, we encourage you to apply. This is a non-paid role that requires significant commitment, but it is deeply rewarding and impactful for judges, players, and Tournament Organizers.

Key 2025 Challenges:

  • Supporting development and growth in the International Associated Regions.
