Chi siamo?

 L’International Judge Program (IJP) è un’organizzazione non-profit ufficialmente registrata nell’UE – Spagna. È anche il più grande dei programmi arbitrali organizzati da volontari contando oltre 1200 membri, creato dopo che Wizards of the Coast ha interrotto la collaborazione con Judge Academy senza fornire un sostituto. L’IJP non è affiliato a Wizards of the Coast o Hasbro, è invece gestito da volontari e tutte le sue posizioni non sono retribuite.

Contesto

 Nel mese di ottobre 2023, Wizards of the Coast ha rimosso l’ultimo sponsor che forniva agli arbitri. Questo è stato in linea con la rimozione progressiva degli sponsor (prodotti per gli eventi, fuori dagli eventi, e per partecipare alle conferenze…) e, sebbene abbiano annunciato che continueranno a supportare gli arbitri nell’ottobre 2023, Wizards non ha condiviso alcun piano con la comunità per continuare tale collaborazione. Perché l’IJP ha bisogno di soldi?

 L’intento originale dell’IJP era di ottenere il riconoscimento ufficiale e la sponsorizzazione da parte di Wizards of the Coast. A tal fine, l’IJP è stata in contatto con Wizards per molti mesi, ma alla fine Wizards ha rifiutato le richieste dell’IJP. Gli attuali Responsabili del Programma dell’IJP credono che gli arbitri non dovrebbero pagare per essere tali, motivo per cui l’IJP non copre i suoi costi attraverso una quota associativa. Essendo un’organizzazione globale, sarebbe anche difficile stabilire una quota associativa che sia equa e accessibile a tutti i membri in tutto il mondo. Tuttavia, anche come organizzazione di volontari con posizioni non retribuite, ci sono dei costi associati alla gestione di un programma come questo, e la raccolta fondi è destinata a coprire il minimo indispensabile di tali costi.

Cosa farà l’IJP con questi soldi?

 L’obiettivo della raccolta fondi è stato fissato per coprire i costi di fondazione e registrazione ufficiale dell’IJP come organizzazione non-profit, nonché le spese in corso fino al 2025. I costi per la fondazione sono principalmente spese legali per registrare l’associazione, e le spese in corso consistono nei costi di hosting del sito web dell’IJP e nei costi di hosting per la piattaforma JudgeApps, che l’IJP utilizza per tenere traccia dei membri, creare esami per gli arbitri e organizzare progetti. Secondo i suoi statuti, l’IJP è tenuta a pubblicare i propri bilanci annualmente nella sua Assemblea Generale.

E riguardo alle sponsorizzazioni diverse da WotC?

L’IJP è aperta a sponsorizzazioni da altre fonti. Se sei interessato a fornire una sponsorizzazione, contattaci via email attraverso GoFundMe.

  • 2023 Creazione dell’associazione: 1.000€
  • 2024 Spese legali: 500€
  • 2024 JudgeApps: 5.000€

Non ci sono stipendi: l’IJP è un’associazione basata sul volontariato e non ha posizioni retribuite.

Cosa succede se la raccolta fondi supera il suo obiettivo?

Come mostrato sopra, la raccolta fondi garantirà i fondi minimi di cui l’IJP ha bisogno per esistere fino al 2025.

Qualsiasi finanziamento aggiuntivo (oltre 12.000€) sarà utilizzato per i fini dell’organizzazione: formazione, educazione, conferenze per arbitri e altri mezzi per supportare i membri dell’organizzazione nel diventare arbitri migliori e migliorare le loro competenze come professionisti negli eventi.

 

E riguardo agli abusi?

 
 

Ci impegniamo a combattere la corruzione, l’uso improprio del sistema e altri abusi che non rispettano gli obiettivi sopra menzionati.

  • Inventario chiaro e contabilità pubblica 
  • Criteri chiari e regole di distribuzione del supporto
  • Elenco pubblico dei costi e delle spese dell’associazione

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
